In this week’s New York Times' Sunday Opinion Section, she tells a different story. In the Rivera Hernandez neighborhood of a town in Honduras called San Pedro Sula, 194 people were "killed or hacked to death in 2013." Now, homicides have dropped by 62% -- and the US has actually helped reduce the deadly violence.
