Now there's evidence that Zika could change public opinion and politics around late-term abortions. Pregnant women infected with Zika have a high risk of giving birth to babies with microcephaly, a birth defect in which a baby is born with an abnormally small head and an underdeveloped brain, is usually detected after 20 weeks.
