Caetano Veloso is probably the most important and most famous Brazilian musician alive today. Since the 1960's he has constantly evidenced an artistic genius, and his collaborations with greats like Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethania (his sister), and Chico Buarque have been fruitful as well. In his first visit to KCRW, he share shares songs from "Fina Estampa," his recording of classic South American songs.
