The City of Compton was long a black enclave, but now it's 65 percent Latino. Recently, a black family was driven from its new home by Latino gang members. That could be part of an ugly pattern happening where populations are changing. But veterans of violent gang culture say it's a shadow of what it was five or 10 years ago.
