Los Angeles has lagged behind San Francisco when it comes to preparing for the inevitable Big One on the San Andreas Earthquake Fault. Yesterday, Mayor Eric Garcetti conceded LA was behind the curve, even while he was on the City Council. But now, he said, he wants that to change.
