    Baby Sharks in Santa Monica Bay

    Early this month, lifeguards cleared El Porto Beach in Manhattan Beach after sighting a couple of great white sharks about 6 feet long. A week later, the captain of a whale-watching boat saw an 18-footer eating a sea lion off the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
