Embattled Disney CEO Michael Eisner has stepped down, leaving many under the broad Disney umbrella breathing a sigh of relief. Although much success came to the Disney empire under the CEO's 21-year reign, it's public knowledge that he also stirred controversy and made enemies along the way. Today, a year before planned, a kinder, gentler era of all things Disney is on the horizon with the announcement that Robert Iger will take the helm in September. Is the 30-year ABC/Disney veteran creative enough for the formidable job or should the search for Eisner-s successor have been more diligent?
