    California will take in $6.6 billion more in revenue than the Governor expected when he first proposed a new budget in January. Today, he revised his plan, but it still includes extending increases in the sales tax and the vehicle license fee. The increase in income taxes can be deferred. Will that be enough get Republicans to approve a vote of the people, or will Democrats do it themselves? Also, LA school librarians on the witness stand defending their jobs.
