Which Way, L.A.?

Can Hollywood maintain its grip?

Internet and digital technology, runaway production-what's the industry to do? Will Hollywood remain the heart of film or will international production and post-production locales steal its thunder? Will the industry become a dinosaur to TiVo and Replay? Four industry players join us in-person, two others by phone, for a fascinating show taped in front of a live audience at the Museum of Television and Radio in Beverly Hills, as part of Radio Festival 2000. Hear their answers to these and the audience's questions. Mark Gill, president of Miramax/LA; Mike Figgis, director of Time Code and Leaving Las Vegas; Richard Masur, past president of the Screen Actors Guild; David Wertheimer, Chairman and CEO of WireBreak.com, a company syndicating animation and live action shorts on the Internet; Dan Adler, head of New Media division at Creative Artists Agency; Porter Bibb, entertainment and media specialist with a Wall Street investments group.
