    Which Way, L.A.?

    DA Race sans Garcetti/Prop 26

LA's District Attorney has been a non-combatant in this year's re-election campaign. Two challengers are holding him partly responsible for corruption in the LAPD and for the Belmont School fiasco. But Gil Garcetti has refused to debate and addresses political issues only through his campaign manager. Hear from Barry Groveman and Steve Cooley. Prop 26 would replace the two-thirds requirement for school bonds with a majority vote. Should we maintain what's called a protection for property-tax payers or make it easier to build and repair public schools? A debate on the pros and cons of 26.
