Diesel emissions. The thick, black clouds trailing buses, trucks, construction and farming equipment all add up to the #1 air pollution problem in California. What is California doing about it? Two bills in the state Senate and Assembly might begin to solve the problem, if they can overcome strenuous opposition and the Governor's threatened veto.
