Former Sheriff's Official Indicted

Paul Tanaka — former Undersheriff and current Mayor of Gardena — has been arrested and charged with conspiracy and obstruction of justice. The federal indictment against Tanaka and former Captain "Tom" Carey describes "a culture generally reserved for a Hollywood script." We talk to a veteran lieutenant about brutality, cover-ups and retaliation.

Also, there's big money next week's LA School Board elections. At stake: charter schools, teacher evaluations and a permanent superintendent.
