Governor Perry in CA to Court Businesses, Generate Buzz

That's part of Governor Perry's pitch in a visit complete with an ad campaign to lure companies away from the Golden State. Will attacking California as a bad place to do business mean votes for his next presidential campaign? Is it actually working?

Occidental Petroleum was just the beginning. Sixty other California firms have expanded or re-located to Texas. That's part of Governor Perry's pitch in a visit complete with an ad campaign to lure companies away from the Golden State. Will attacking California as a bad place to do business mean votes for his next presidential campaign? Is it actually working? Also, a local health center chain ups its minimum wage to $15 an hour, and the lack of court funding means a denial of justice in California.

Later, on To the Point, President Obama is about to set a record for deportations, so he's called for enforcing the law "more humanely." That's enraged Republicans—without easing the problems of some Democrats. What does it mean for immigration reform… and upcoming elections?
