Layoff notices are on their way to 5500 Los Angeles teachers. Can their jobs be saved? What’s the possible impact if they can’t? Also, illegal immigration has dropped to where it was 35 years ago. On our rebroadcast of today’s To the Point, high cost and the fear of terrorism are still major issues, and without Nevada’s Yucca Mountain, deadly nuclear waste has no place to go.
