    Last week, top presidential aide Karl Rove met with the heads of television networks and film studios to enlist their help in the war against terrorism. Since then, several creative artists have voiced concern about the possibility of government intrusion on the creative process. Jack Valenti, president of the Motion Picture Association of America, explains the deal that he helped broker with the White House. Then, Larry Gelbart, creator of the TV series Mash, and Republican Congressman Elton Gallegly, share their perspectives on patriotism, propaganda, and what the White House really wants from Hollywood.
