A marble and limestone statue thought to be the Greek goddess Aphrodite is the most famous antiquity at the J. Paul Getty Museum. At $18 million, it's also the most expensive. But today's Los Angeles Times reports on questions about its official history, questions raised before it was purchased in 1988.
