The City Council, which approved the project, is now taking it up again—because of a lawsuit by angry Westside drivers. Will lawsuits derail the project? We hear from Council members on both sides.
Also on the program, the LAPD has opened fire almost twice as often this year as last year — killing 19 people. The new President of the Police Commission will tell us why he wants more public discussion.
