The large hearing room at LA County's Hall of Administration is generally almost empty while the five supervisors conduct public business. Last night was a different story. With almost 1000 people signed up to speak, additional rooms were needed to accommodate the audience. The Supervisors rejected a move to redraw their district boundaries so a second Latino might have a better chance to serve.
