    Which Way, L.A.?

    LA's &quotDay without Immigrants&quot

All over the country, hundreds of thousands turned out today for the much anticipated "Day without Immigrants." Southern Californians were among those protesting a possible crackdown on illegal immigration and demanding a path to legalization for undocumented workers. Will this demonstration of economic influence turn into political clout? Will it produce a backlash? Will there be different effects in the House and the Senate? We get a range of views from journalists and immigration activists, including one of the organizers of today's events in Los Angeles, which saw one of the largest demonstrations.
