LAUSD: Belmont School

Are we going overboard on school site review? The LAUSD School Board's decision on whether to push forward with the 00 million Belmont School could be days away. Is the construction site really any worse than the rest of downtown? If the same land is used for homes, apartments and the present Belmont, why not the new school?
