    McCourt Agrees to Sell the Dodgers

    The Los Angeles Dodgers could have a new owner by opening day of next year, at least that's the goal of Frank McCourt and Major League Baseball. They reached an agreemen t last night. McCourt leveraged $421 million seven years ago to buy the team, the stadium and surrounding parking lots. Now a sale could bring in a record one billion.
