Last month, Los Angeles voters approved Measure D , which was supposed to reduce the number of medical marijuana dispensaries from more than 1000 down to 135 or so. Some have shut down, but 945 still have registered to pay city taxes. That's good for two or three million dollars in revenue, but it's bad for some neighborhoods.
