More Oversight for LA County Sheriff's Office

To counter protests over another controversial shooting, LA Sheriff Jim McDonnell has released footage showing that a man killed on Saturday by deputies in Lynnwood had a pistol in his hands. It's been a year since the Board of Supervisors created a civilian watchdog to investigate such incidents, but it still hasn't decided which records should be made available.
