Nearly One in Five Americans Don't Have Enough Food

Have there been times in the past 12 months when you did not have enough money to buy food that you and your family needed?” Twenty percent of Californians answered "Yes" to that question last year in a Gallup survey, 26 percent in the Inland Empire, 24 percent in Los Angeles and Long Beach and 21 percent in Santa Ana.
