Parents in Uproar as LAUSD Ends Inter-district Transfers
Some 12,200 students who live within the boundaries of the Los Angeles Unified School District have chosen to attend other public schools outside. Not any more. Unless they’re in senior status -- 5th, 8th or 12th grades -- or their parents work outside the District, they’ll have to come back to the LAUSD.
