Police Commission Report

The major players talk about the study that could rival the Christopher Commission report in importance. As the city works through a "consent decree" with the US Justice Department, we discuss the future of the LAPD. Join Chief Bernard Parks, Cindy Miscikowski, leaders of the Police Union and Police Commission, City Councilman and mayoral candidate Joel Wachs, Connie Rice, a representative of the Mayor office, and Richard Drooyan who authored the study. Newsmaker: One day after three cops were convicted of crimes, the Rampart Independent Review Panel has issued a call for sweeping reforms of the LAPD. Richard Drooyan is the panel's general counsel, and author of the just-released report. He joins us to talk about some of the 210 pages of findings and recommendations.
