Proposition 92 on next month’s ballot would limit fees charged by 109 community colleges to $15 dollars a unit. They are now $20 dollars.

The Legislative Analyst says the college system would collect about $70 million dollars less under Proposition 92 than it does now. But the state would still have to provide funding at a minimum level just as it does for K-12 education.
