Riordan Endorsement; City Attorney Candidate Feuer

The LA City Attorney provides legal counsel for all city departments, elected officials, boards and commissions, and prosecutes misdemeanor crimes. After 16 years, James Hahn is termed-out and running for mayor. His successor will be determined in the June 5 runoff. Deputy Mayor Rocky Delgadillo has refused to participate in any broadcast debate, so we'll hear from each candidate separately. Today, Mike Feuer talks about his city council experience, answers accusations from Delgadillo, and shares his views on several quality of life issues. Newsmaker: Mayoral Endorsement Announced - Mayor Richard Riordan has endorsed former Assembly Speaker Antonio Villaraigosa in his fight against City Attorney James Hahn for LA mayor, touting his strong management staff and charismatic ability to unite a diverse city and bring national attention to the city. Rick Orlov, of the Daily News, analyses the importance of the endorsement in a race that the latest polls show is dead even.
