Since Sam Zell took over, the LA Times has been dessimated by cutbacks. Last month Dean Singleton’s MediaNews Group cut 20% out of the newsroom at the Daily News. Today, a change maybe even bigger than that - it appears that Ron Kaye, long time Managing Editor now Editor is out.
