The Taj Mahal of the LAUSD is under fire again, this time from the Legislature's Joint Audit Committee. Decision makers who okayed the Belmont School are accused of overbilling, unfair bidding and destruction of documents. Can this futuristic school get off the ground? Does the management system at the LAUSD need a shakeup?
