Sexual Harassment Law Expanded in California

The State Supreme Court has expanded the definition of sexual harassment in California, saying that if workers having sex with the boss get preferred treatment, those who are not can sue. One side calls it a victory for the "unloved." The other says, "California employers beware." Is it a license for the disgruntled to snoop? What could that mean for the atmosphere in the workplace? We get two views, from San Francisco attorney Barbara Lawless, who won her case on behalf of two women employees at the Valley State Prison for Women in Chowchilla, and Santa Monica-based attorney Colleen Regan, who specializes in employment law.
