Which Way, L.A.?

Should LA Go One Way?

The LA City Council is studying plans for Olympic Boulevard to become a one-way street traveling east, while Pico becomes a one-way street traveling from downtown to the Santa Monica beach.  Traffic consultants say that would allow for 20% more cars.  During rush hour, one lane each way would be dedicated to buses.  That might be great for commuters, but what about the people living and doing business along the way? We’ll also talk with a news cameraman roughed up by the LAPD in Mac Arthur Park on Tuesday evening.
