The Drought, Our Dwindling Water Supplies and the Need to Conserve
It's often reported that California is in its fourth year of drought. Well, it's actually lasted more than twice that long.

State officials call that a crackdown. Meantime, the Metropolitan Water District says the drought's been going on for nine years, not just three, and it's paying rice farmers more than three times what it has before to give up allocations of water. Is there water rationing in our future?
