Los Angeles has lost 30,000 jobs in the past decade and 106,000 in manufacturing alone during the past 17 years. Those are among the findings of a 26-person committee put together last year by Mayor Villaraigosa .

Those are among the findings of a 26-person committee put together last year by Mayor Villaraigosa. It’s a diverse group, including the President of USC, the Director of the Hammer Museum and the leader of the County Federation of Labor. Today, the committee released its 130-page report on revitalizing the local economy.
