Last year's Los Angeles Auto Show featured green technology. This year's is all about communications technology, and the bottom line is that the car becomes a sort of mobile device, a smart phone. Will a new generation fall in love with cars if they're connected? What about driving distractions? Speaking of driving, will California voters agree to double the car tax for road repair? Should all drivers have to pay by the mile?

On our rebroadcast of today's To the Point, coverage of the Affordable Care Act has been all about Healthcare.gov and President Obama's false reassurances. But health insurance reform is bigger than politics. We look at where it appears to be working as well as where it's not.
