When Hilda Solis became President Obama’s Secretary of Labor , she gave up the 32nd Congressional District in LA and its eastern suburbs. Twelve candidates are in next Tuesday’s primary race , among them frontrunners Gil Cedillo and Judy Chu , and newcomer Emanuel Pleitez (pictured at left).
