Due to the September 11 attacks, Muslim-Americans are reaching out in a coordinated effort to educate the American public about their religion. Tonight, we attempt to shed light on the fundamentals of Islam and what it means to be a "good Muslim." We investigate if the Koran promises martyrdom for suicide bombings and its stance on women's rights. Also, we explore whether the Taliban is governing Afghanistan according to Islamic law. An Islam expert and an Iranian revolution survivor join us to discuss the complicated perceptions of Islam.
