The Obama Administration announced today that it's filled a new post. Howard Schmidt, a former eBay and Microsoft security official has been appointed White House Cybersecurity Chief. The announcement came the same day that the Wall Street Journal has reported an FBI investigation into a hacking at Citibank that may have resulted in the theft of tens of millions of dollars. James Lewis is director of the Technology and Public Policy Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
