With Brown-Whitman Debate, Campaign Season Picks Up Steam

Los Angeles recorded a record high of 113 degrees today. Long Beach hit 107. How long will it last? What does it mean for public health, brush fires and energy use? We preview tomorrow's confrontation. (KCRW will air the debate live at 6pm.) What about Fiorina and Boxer? How accurate are the samples of a growing bloc of voters: Hispanics?
