After a series of troubling incidents on campuses of the University of California, Jewish groups asked the Board of Regents to adopt the State Department's definition of anti-Semitism. UC President Janet Napolitano said she personally supported the State Department definition, which prohibits "demonization of Israel" or saying Israel has no right to exist, but that created an uproar.
