A lot of KCRW favorites made the list for the Mercury Prize, which is essentially an album of the year award for best UK album.

Adele, Anna Calvi, Elbow have all stopped by KCRW this year to share songs from their new albums. Metronomy will be joining us for a live Morning Becomes Eclectic session on August 1 (and are live at the Echoplex on July 30). PJ Harvey’s new album was a big hit here and a bunch of our DJs are enamored with newcomer James Blake.
