Johanna Cooper, who helped KCRW Manager Ruth Seymour produce two series of Jewish Stories and was a gifted radio documentarian, died Thursday, July 10, of complications from breast cancer. She leaves a husband, a son of 15, a daughter of 11 and an elderly and infirm mother. This program is in her honor. A remembrance of her appears in the September (2008) Guide. She was a beautiful spirit and a joy to work with and to know.
