Jason Bentley and Active Child's Pat Grossi

We posted a highlight from our session with Active Childyesterday and there are already three comments: Incredible. Amazing. Haunting.

These single word proclamations seem to reflect the general response to Active Child’s music, which was a huge hit at the Music Box last night where they played to a sold out crowd opening for M83.

Singer Pat Grossi has a familiar story about how he found his way to music – performing as part of a Boy’s Choir in Philadelphia. But it’s his incredible range and swirling falsetto that really sets him apart. That and the fact that he plays the harp!

The music draws you in instantly and the spectacle of his voice, combined with harp strumming and a shock of red hair, is really a sight to see. Check it all out here.
