Agnes Obel returns with a captivating new track

Over the course of two albums, Danish singer/songwriter Agnes Obel has solidified herself as a dependably unique artist, combining hypnotic compositions with her lovely vocals.

Following her critically acclaimed 2013 release, Aventine, the Berlin-based artist returns with the new track, Familiar.

On Familiar, Obel weaves her vocals through dense layers of strings and keys, while also changing the tonality of her delivery to essentially duet with herself…the results are captivating.
