Thursday, July 28, Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore released a surprising solo record earlier this year that showed his softer side, with more acoustic arrangements and introspective lyrics. KCRW favorite Beck produced the collection of songs and we’ll hear them live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuareg singer and guitar wiz Bombino channels Jimi Hendrix and John Lee Hooker—we’ll catch a live session on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, August 1, Metronomy has remixed everyone from U2 to the Gorillaz and was recently nominated for the one of the UK’s biggest music honors, the Mercury Prize. We will welcome them to our studios for a live performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, August 9, Bay Area band Vetiver really hit their stride on their latest release, a collection of upbeat folk with memorable melodies. We’ll feature a live set on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
