It marks one year since another series of rallies in Anaheim drew national headlines, sparked by the police shootings of two Latino men. The incidents revealed a darker side to Disneyland’s hometown.

Activists vowed to transform the city in the wake of the unrest, and police and politicians promised to listen. What has changed, if anything, over the past year?
