Australian brother/sister duo Angus and Julia Stone kicked off their U.S. tour with a stunning performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic today. They knock our socks off every time they roll through our studios, but this morning was extra special. Their lush songs sound especially good on a rare rainy day in LA, particularly a Monday. Also, it was a real “KCRW moment” to see Angus and Julia soundchecking on our studio with Trent Reznor on the other side of the glass talking to Jason about his score for the Social Network.

They followed a gorgeous and mellow first set with some of our favorites:

“Big Jet Plane,” “Private Lawns” (with Julia on trumpet), and “Yellow Brick Road.” Check out the full set in the archives here.
