Monday, October 6, A soulful electronic chameleon Dan Snaith, aka Caribou, has released his 5th studio album “Our Love”. It might be his best to date and we’re thrilled to welcome him in live performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, October 7, UK band Glass Animals caught our ear early on with their dreamy, synthy pop songs. Their debut has been a favorite on our airwaves and we’ll get to experience their sound live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at11:15am.

Wednesday, October 8, Norwegian-born singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche lets off steam about love on his excellent new album and will treat Morning Becomes Eclectic listeners to live versions at 11:15am.

Thursday, October 9, Grammy Award- winning band La Santa Cecilia are known for their incredibly energetic live shows. The LA band will be part of Supersonico, a Latin Alternative festival debuting October 11. Tune in for a preview on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Friday, October 10, A dark princess of sound Zola Jesus has an unmistakable presence and a powerful voice that drives a series of electro-pop gems on her new album. The LA artist graces us with a live performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, October 13, L.A. chanteuse Banks is experiencing a quick rise to fame thanks to her excellent debut album. We’ll showcase some of the highlights, which were recorded in front of an audience at Sonos Studio, on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, October 14, Beloved local band Cold War Kids return with a new lineup and a brand new set of songs. They celebrate the release date for “Hold My Home” with a performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, October 15, Classically-trained artist Mia Doi Todd covered some of her favorite Brazilian songs on her new album “Floresta”. We’ll sway to her sublime interpretations when she brings her band to Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Thursday, October 16, Extraordinary bassist and singer Meshell Ndegeocello recently graced the stage at Apogee Studio and delivered her melodic and moody new work, along with her classics. We’ll air highlights from the session hosted by Chris Douridas on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Friday, October 17, Canadian super group The New Pornographers are one of KCRW’s favorite power pop bands. They’ll return with live renditions of new songs for Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, October 20, Indie rock legend, iconic fashion figure, tireless songwriter, and frontwoman for Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Karen O just released her first official solo record. She brought two other station favorites — Moses Sumney and Holly Miranda – to round out her sound in a live performance from the Village Studios. Hear it on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, October 21, Frazey Ford, formerly of the Be Good Tanyas, has a truly unique voice as a songwriter and she channels Memphis soul on her latest record. It’s a stunning collection of songs and we’ll hear them live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Thursday, October 23, Punk rock rebel Tom Vek is an enigmatic artist. We never know what to expect from the UK singer and we’re excited to see what he has in store at KCRW’s Masquerade Ball and in his live set on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Friday, October 24, Hollie Cook’s new album is a KCRW favorite, with reggae-tinged tropical pop songs that we’ve been playing on repeat. We’re thrilled she’ll join us for a live session on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am before taking the stage at KCRW’s Masquerade Ball.
