Catching Up with Coachella

While I wasn’t among the 75,000 people in Indio this weekend, I really enjoyed catching up on everyone’s favorite performances thanks to the wonders of the Internet. I saw that two of our past Guest DJ Project guests – Alexander Skarsgard and Danny DeVito— were among the many celebrity music fans in attendance. In fact, Danny talks about a magical music discovery moment at Coachella in his set.

Also, I heard Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros were a crowd favorite. Even Jay Z was there checking them out! If you haven’t seen them live yet, you must check them out. Get a taste here, their live radio debut on KCRW!

Jonsi from Sigur Ros just finished up a wonderful live set on Morning Becomes Eclectic (more on that soon) and The Temper Trap is coming up tomorrow so the Coachella connection continues!
