Chris Douridas has been a part of KCRW for quite a while now, first as a host of “Morning Becomes Eclectic,” to hosting a Saturday evening show from 6-8pm, to curating our “Eclectic24” streaming music channel. So you can assume he’s heard quite a few things over the years. This year, he has picked as among his batch of favorite records a couple of jazzy artists, some forward-thinking electronic producers and the Three As (Alabama Shakes, Andy Shauf & the Arcs)! See all his top 10 albums here:

1) Alabama Shakes – Sound & Color (ATO)

2) Andy Shauf – The Bearer of Bad News (Tender Loving Empire)

3) Miguel – Wildheart (RCA)

5) Raury – All We Need (Columbia)

6) The Arcs – Yours, Dreamily (Nonesuch)

7) Bob Moses – Days Gone By (Domino)

8) Jamie xx – In Colour (Young Turks)

9) Peaches – Rub (inGrooves)

10) Kamasi Washington – The Epic (Brainfeeder)

Chris has even sifted through his favorite tracks to make up his Top 10 Singles of 2015:

1) The Weeknd – “Can’t Feel My Face”

2) Leon Bridges – “Smooth Sailin'”

3) Kendrick Lamar – “King Kunta”

4) Adele – “Hello”

5) Chemical Brothers (feat. Q-Tip) – “Go”

6) Bob Moses – “Tearing Me Up”
